Find and Replace in multiple files utility using c# script
1. The application will get the file extensions, the folder under which the files reside, the string to be found and the string to be replaced with. Once it has got all these information from the user the application will look for files with the specified extensions under the specified folder. It will then open each file and replace all the occurrences of the string with the required string.
2. Regular expression is used to match the string in this application. This provides a lot more options for the user to provide the input string and in a more easier way.
