6. Appendix - Upgrading BIND LaterSo, you had BIND 9.1.2 all nicely chrooted and tweaked to your taste... and then you hear this nasty rumour that BIND 9.1.3 is finally out, and you just have to give it a try right away. Do you have to go through this whole long process to install this new version? Nope. In fact, you really just need to compile the new BIND and install it over top of the old one. Just don't forget to kill the old version and restart BIND, or it'll still be the old version running!
