9. Future workAs mentioned in the disclaimer, work on divert sockets is done as part of a DARPA-funded network security effort. We will continue to port divert sockets to further versions of the kernel as time permits. Given that 2.4 kernel is on the horizon, in all likelihood we will skip 2.3.x series altogether.
