This php mysql database project is for uploading and downloading software and for maintaining download statistics etc, where users can register in this site, to upload and download softwares.

In this website system, all available software categories has been listed. By clicking Software categories, all products and software available in that category has been shown. Product details includes Product Name, Price, Software version, Licensing type, Language, Software compatibility, Platform compatibility and product image. Product detailed description has been shown by clicking Product image. Detailed description includes Product description, Extra notes, Developer name, Number of votes and product images. Product Screen shot and Preview images has been shown in pop up window by clicking product image.

Following are the various types of software types available in this system.

2. Shareware
3. Open source
4. Purchase
5. Try/buy
6. Commercial

Users can download freeware, Sharewares and Open source without payment. To download other types user has to pay money through paypal. User registration includes Login details, Personal details, Company details like Company name, URL, User image.

Our software developers have created this php mysql project such a way that any user can search softwares through this system by giving Search term. In advanced search, Search has been done by giving Search term, Developer name, Product ID, Platform, Product Category, Software compatibility , Certified and Licensing type(above mentioned software types). All search results has been listed where user can download any product. In addition to this, We have listed “Top 5 Most Downloaded”, “Top 5 Highest Rated” and “Newest Softwares” at right panel. User can choose products from that list, if they wish.

Registered users has the ability to upload softwares by giving product details. User can download software by clicking “Download Now” link which is available in product details page. While downloading softwares, an email has been send to user with a link. By clicking that link user can download software. For each download, user will get “1 reward point” and “2% of Product price” as “Reward Dollars”. Developer will get “10% of Product price as Commission”. By downloading many products, user can gain reward points and reward dollars. User can also buy products using the gained reward dollars. If user has reward dollars more than product price means user can use “Buy using Rewards” option to download Software.

Our web developers have done a Rating system in this project. In product details page, user can view “Average Rating” system with 5 stars. So that a logged in user can rate any softwares by clicking the stars . User can view “Name, Reward Points, Reward dollars” and “Profile” link at top panel. Also admin can recommend softwares to users through admin panel. That recommended softwares has been listed at top panel.

We have done VBulletin forum integration for this project. So users can view forum threads and communicate between their profiles and with administrator. Users need to just login once into our website for accessing vbulletin member panel and also we have modified the vbulletin private messaging system also. Our software programmers team has done this customization to vbulletin.

Administrator has the ability to manage users, categories and products. Admin has the ability to update/delete products by searching. Admin can review uploaded softwares and set Product status as “Received”, “Being Reviewed”,”Certified” and “Published”. Only “Certified and Published” products has been shown in front end. “Download Statistics, Top rated Softwares, Newest Softwares, Commission Statistics, Commission Payout Statistics and Reward Statistics” has been shown in admin panel. Admin can pay money to developers through paypal. Admin has the ability to set Pay out Commissions to developers and update Order Status.
